Super 8 by Wyndham Mt. Pleasant

Fridge didn't work, the phone didn't work to call the desk to tell them that the fridge didn't work. I walked down there to tell them the problem. Waited two hours for someone to come up and no one showed. I left for 30 minutes to run to Walmart, someone supposedly showed up. When I returned the room smelled of cigarettes. Needs were ok, spa tub was nice. The girl at the desk was friendly and busy when the morning person for the breakfast didn't show and that poor girl was running the food and the front desk. Food was good. Love the waffles and if you like sausage gravy and biscuits it looked really good

Ill be honest Ive never stayed st a Super 8 before as Im, well a bit snobby about hotels. I was late in booking for parents weekend so this is where I ended up. It was way better than anticipated. Clean, comfortable, and updated. The staff was warm and inviting. Even the main area was more contemporary. Save yourself the money and stay here. You can walk over to the tailgate (skip the wait to get in) meet your friends (have them bring your stuff or bring a little cart), and stable back without worry. Lots of easy places to walk fir food and Target is right here.

Great location, always a busy hotel. Safe area, the hotel could use some upgrades. It's beginning to show it's age. They should have offered late checkout.

Granted… it’s a bit dated. Sure it could use new flooring. But for under $100 the greeting was a sweet young girl that handled herself very well. Elevator worked well bed was comfortable and water was hot. Working ice machine and good fair breakfast. So if you are looking for a Hilton then go pay for a Hilton but I would not hesitate to stay here again

This place is great. Clean rooms, hallways, lobby and bathrooms. Staff go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable. Breakfast bar was not bad. Fresh waffles, fruit, oatmeal and much more. We will be back! Thank you! 5 stars is well earned.

The rooms may be a bit dated, and yes the breakfast doesn't fully have the best options. BUT this is a family trying to fix up a older style hotel so it isn't as nice as you would expect but some of the reviews about awfulness are quickly handled. My family and I came up here for a CMU game and we had no issues in the two nights we stayed!! Definitely recommend if you are in a pinch and need a hotel for family weekend or something at CMU especially. You can walk to the stadium for football and see it from the rooms in the front of the hotel.

Great stay! The room was adequate and better than expected. The bed was comfortable and bathroom had plenty of towels and toiletries. Everything was well cleaned. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices, which I wasn’t expecting after reading previous comments. The biscuits and gravy, sausage, waffles, hot and cold cereals, yogurt, juices and coffee were kept well filled by the attentive dining room staff. I’ll be back!!

This is our go to hotel, but during this stay we were not told there was going to be construction so we were woken up every day with construction or remodeling all around us. On the plus side all the rooms got new beds!! Hope they are a comfy as the ones the had. Was there to get my patents wedding all set up for the weekend but sleep wasn't an option with all the noise. Plus people going to the stadium was taking all of the parking spaces. I watched them park and then go to the stadium. One car even had is car alarm going off for hours and the hotel kept sending text messages to all of the people staying at the hotel. They should post that parking is for hotel guests only and all others will be towed because they don't have a big parking lot.
